What is Flow Mat Pilates?

Flow Mat Pilates is held in both our Marina and Sculpt studios, offering a contemporary approach to classical mat Pilates. This floor-based class uses body weight to strengthen the core, enhance flexibility, improve posture, and build overall balance and control.

To add variety and intensity, we occasionally incorporate small equipment such as resistance bands, Pilates rings, and hand weights, increasing resistance for a more dynamic and effective workout. Combining traditional Pilates principles with modern movement patterns, Flow Mat Pilates delivers a fluid, engaging session that strengthens, tones, and energises the entire body.

Mat Pilates is adaptable for all fitness levels. Whether you’re a beginner or more advanced, exercises can be modified to match your abilities, ensuring a safe and effective workout for everyone.

What to Bring?

At Reform Pilates, we want you to feel confident and comfortable. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Wear: Comfortable, fitted workout clothes. Grip socks are recommended.
  • Bring: Just yourself—we provide all the equipment. Feel free to bring a water bottle.
  • Arrive Early: Come 5-10 minutes before class to get settled. First-timers will get a quick intro to the equipment.
  • Small Class Sizes: Personalised attention to help you reach your goals.
