Reformer Pilates

What is Reformer Pilates?

Reformer Pilates is a dynamic form of Pilates that uses a machine called the Reformer to enhance strength, flexibility, and alignment. The Reformer consists of a sliding carriage, adjustable springs for resistance, and straps for additional support. Unlike Mat Pilates, Reformer Pilates provides greater resistance and support, allowing for a more challenging and versatile full-body workout. It’s ideal for improving core strength, posture, and overall body conditioning, suitable for all fitness levels.

Class Types

Reformer Pilates offers varying levels of difficulty, making it suitable for all fitness levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners.

Beginners Reformer Course:
If you’re new to Reformer Pilates, our 4-week Beginners course is designed to help you learn the basics at a comfortable pace. You’ll focus on mastering core exercises and techniques, gradually building strength and confidence on the Reformer machine.

Reformer Improvers: Once you’ve completed the beginner phase, you can progress to more challenging movements. Reformer Improvers classes incorporate increased resistance and a wider range of exercises, designed to further enhance your flexibility, core strength, and coordination.

Reformer Advanced: For those seeking a more intense workout, Advanced Reformer classes push your strength, endurance, and balance to the next level. These sessions feature more complex exercises, faster pace and higher resistance, ensuring a comprehensive, full-body challenge.

High-Intensity Reformer: This class focuses on strength, endurance, and cardio, with quicker transitions between exercises and the use of higher resistance levels. A key feature of the class is the frequent use of the jumpboard, which adds a cardio component by simulating jumping motions while keeping the workout low-impact on the joints. High-Intensity Reformer Pilates is perfect for those looking to elevate their Pilates practice and challenge their fitness level while maintaining precision and control.
